My Mom always called me ‘peanut butter’. It was both a term of endearment and a pretty heavy responsibility. As the middle child with a single mother working 3 jobs – you know, that magic recipe for a lifetime supply of grit and drive - I was the stuff in the middle that holds it all together and smooths it over; the peanut butter.
I spent a good chunk of my childhood and adolescent years with a watchful eye for what subtleties would break the ecosystem and how to adjust, pivot, and deflect.
Because this was my norm, I learned to really lean in to ask the meaningful questions and often challenge the status quo, while keeping the peace, because at a very early age I had already learned one of life’s greatest lessons; WE is always better than ME.

By the time I hit college and my early career, it was pretty clear that those formative experiences would be my greatest strength.
As a graduate from the Cameron School of Business at UNCW, I spent over 15 years navigating Corporate America through various roles in Business Development, Financial Services, and Credit Analysis. I’ve launched and ran a non-profit, have served in several board positions, and continue to volunteer with a variety of organizations in my community.
In 2023 I was named as one of Wilmington's 40 Under 40 as "A Visionary Leader in Business & Human Connection".

Consistently tapping into the, often overlooked, humanness.
Creating and reinforcing a model of Culture + Integrity removes the debilitating flight-or-fight tension. It allows for the natural ebbs and flows of the business to occur without employees and customers feeling like the rug was pulled out from under them.
